Yamakasi begain in Paris with a select group of guys (elite, you might say), and spread to others around the world, and to a sub-group in Paris comprised of martial artists and headed by _____. The original Yamakasi appear in their own movie by the same name as well as in the opening sequences of Taxi 3 (starring Sylvester Stallone).

Defining Yamakasi is a little difficult. Originally it was a sort of mixture of extreme acrobatics. Since then it has expanded to include Martial arts and elite movement in other areas.

Yamakasi is, The Art of Movement. We like to extend the term quite beyond it's original, "proper" meaning. Essentially, whenever you see someone actually move in some way and can't believe it's possible, that's Yamakasi. Here are some examples:
